Prashanth Neel is an Indian film director and screenwriter who also directed thye Movie “KGF: Chapter 1”.
Neel primarily works in the Kannada Film Industry (Sandalwood).
Personal Life of Prashanth Neel :-
He was born on 4 June 1980, in Hassan, Karnataka.
His Father is Subhash Neelkanthapuram and her mother is Bharti Subhash.
Neel has two siblings, a brother named Pradeep Neelkanthapuram and a sister named Rekha Neelkanthapuram.
He studied in Baldwins Boy’s School and completed his MBA in Seshadripuram College.
He is married to Likhita Reddy and have a son named Rayansh Neel and a daughter named Sarayu Neel.
Journey Of Prashanth Neel:-
He initially took filmmaking as a necessity for money and also did a course in filmmaking.
During the course he developed an interest in filmmaking.
After completing the course, he became the writer and director of his debut movie “Ugramm” starring Srimurali, his brother in law.
In early 2015, he signed three movies :-
- The first one was the sequel to “Ugramm” as “Ugramm Veeram”.
- The second one was the movie K.G.F: Chapter 1 starring Yash, Srinidhi Shetty.
- The third was the sequel K.G.F Chapter 2 releasing on 14 April 2022.
The K.G.F Chapter 1 was a massive hit and it became a nationwide sensation and got a collection of more than 250 crore hence became the highest grossing movie of the Sandalwood.
K.G.F Chapter 2 was scheduled to release on 16 July 2021 but was delayed due to the corona pandemic in 2021 and now it is rescheduled to be released on 14 April 2022.

In December 2020, Hombale Films announced the Film “Salaar” with Prabhas and the shoot began on 29 January 2021.
In May 2021, Mythri Movies Makers and NTR Arts announced a film collaboration with Neel and Jr. NTR, for his 31st film.
