Sunrisers Hyderabad(SRH) is a cricket franchise based in Hyderabad, Telangana. It plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
It is currently captained by Kane Williamson and its coach is Trevor Bayliss.
Its home ground is the Rajiv Gandhi International cricket stadium, Hyderabad.
The team made its first appearance in 2013 and they reached 4th place in the IPL 2013 tournament.
It is currently owned by Kalanithi Maran of the Sun Group.
SRH won their first title in the 2016 season when they defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 8 runs in the final.
SRH has qualified to the playoff stage of the tournament every year since it was announced except the IPL 2021 where they came at the eight position.

In 2018, it reached the finals and lost against Chennai SuperKings in 2018.

After the demise of the Deccan Chargers of Hyderabad in 2013, SRH was introduced as the team of Hyderabad and Telangana.
They retained 20 players from Deccan chargers including Thisara Pereira, Darren Sammy, Quinton de Kock etc.
In 2021, SRH retained 22 players, released 5 players and bought three players including Kedar Jadhav.
In 2021, after losing 6 matches from 7 matches they replaced David Warner by Kane Williamson.
